Learn the basics of Retiplex
What is Retiplex?
Retiplex is an AI-powered platform that creates professional video advertisements. You provide your product information and preferences, and our AI generates complete video ads with scripts, AI actors, voiceovers, and product shots — all in minutes.
Do I need video editing experience?
No. Retiplex handles all the creative work. You just need to provide your product information (images, descriptions, and target audience) and the platform generates a complete video ad. You can then customize individual scenes if you want to fine-tune the result.
What kind of videos can I create?
Retiplex creates short-form vertical video ads optimized for platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. Each video features AI actors delivering conversion-optimized scripts alongside your product footage.
Can I use the generated videos for commercial purposes?
Yes. You own all content generated through your Retiplex account and can use it freely for advertising campaigns, social media, and any other commercial purpose.
How realistic are the AI-generated videos?
AI video technology is advancing rapidly, but it is not perfect. Generated videos — particularly scenes featuring AI actors — may contain visual imperfections or artifacts. We recommend reviewing all generated content before publishing. The quality varies depending on the input materials and selected options.

Account creation and management
How do I create an account?
You can sign up with your email address and a password, or use Google sign-in. Visit app.retiplex.com/sign-up to get started.
Can I try Retiplex before subscribing?
Yes. You can preview the app using our Demo Mode, which is available from the sign-in page. Demo Mode lets you explore the interface and features without creating an account. To generate videos, you will need an active subscription.
How do I change my password or email?
Go to Settings in the app. From there you can update your password or request an email change.

Plans and subscription management
What plans are available?
Retiplex offers three subscription plans:
- Starter ($49/month) — 5,000 credits per month. Perfect for small businesses testing video ads.
- Professional ($129/month) — 15,000 credits per month. For marketers running regular campaigns.
- Enterprise (custom pricing) — Unlimited credits. For agencies managing multiple clients.
Do I need a subscription to use credits?
Yes. An active subscription is required to generate content, even if you have extra credits in your account. If your subscription expires, your extra credits are preserved and will be available again once you resubscribe.
How do I manage my subscription?
Go to Settings in the app. From there you can view your current plan, upgrade, downgrade, or cancel.

How the credit system works
How do credits work?
Credits are the currency used to generate content on Retiplex. Each operation — such as generating a script, creating a video scene, or rendering a final video — consumes a certain number of credits. The cost varies depending on the type and complexity of the operation. See the Billing & Credits Guide for more details.
Do unused credits roll over?
Monthly subscription credits do not roll over. They reset at the start of each billing cycle — any unused subscription credits are forfeited when your plan renews.
Extra credits (purchased as top-ups) do roll over. They never expire and remain in your account as long as it stays active.
Which credits are used first?
The system always consumes your monthly subscription credits before touching your extra credits.
How much does a video cost in credits?
A typical 30-second video ad costs approximately 500 credits. The exact cost depends on the number of scenes, scene types, voiceover length, and other factors. Credit costs are deducted after each operation completes.
Can I buy more credits?
Yes. You can purchase extra credits as one-time top-ups at any time:
- 500 credits — $10
- 1,800 credits — $30
- 7,500 credits — $100
Extra credits never expire and roll over between billing cycles.
What happens to my credits if I cancel?
When you cancel, your subscription stays active until the end of the current billing period and you can continue using credits until then. After that, any remaining subscription credits are forfeited. Extra credits are retained on your account and will be available if you resubscribe later.

Payment processing, invoices, and refunds
How is billing handled?
All payments are processed by Polar Inc., which acts as our payment processor. Your subscription is billed monthly on a recurring basis. Retiplex does not store your payment card details. For a full breakdown, see the Billing & Credits Guide.
Where can I see my billing history?
Go to Settings in the app. The billing section shows your payment history and invoices.
What happens when I upgrade my plan?
Upgrades take effect immediately. You pay a prorated amount for the difference between plans for the remainder of your billing cycle. The additional credits are added to your account right away.
What happens when I downgrade my plan?
Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing cycle. You keep full access to your current plan's features and credit allocation until your renewal date.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Go to Settings and select the cancel option. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain full access until then. You can also reactivate before the period ends.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds are available only if your subscription was started by mistake and no credits have been used for content generation. We do not offer refunds mid-cycle or after credits have been consumed. To request a refund, contact support@retiplex.com within 7 days of the charge.
Why does my bank statement show "Polar" instead of "Retiplex"?
Polar Inc. is our payment processor and Merchant of Record. All charges appear under their name on bank and credit card statements.

Creating and editing video ads
What do I need to get started?
At minimum, you need a product description and ideally some product images or videos. You can also provide your website URL and Retiplex will extract product information automatically.
How long does it take to generate a video?
Generation time varies depending on the number of scenes and their complexity. Most individual scenes generate within a few minutes. A complete video ad with multiple scenes can typically be ready within 10–15 minutes.
Can I edit the generated video?
Yes. After generation, you can customize individual scenes, change the script, select different AI actors, adjust voiceovers, and rearrange the scene order before rendering the final video.
What AI actors are available?
Retiplex offers 30+ diverse AI actors to choose from. Each actor has a unique appearance and voice. Enterprise plan customers can also create custom actors.
